It replaces the spreadsheets HR teams quietly dread with a structured, fast system that covers the entire employee operations lifecycle — leave requests, accrual policies, shift scheduling, penalty tracking, and payroll-ready reports — all available offline.
Built multi-tenant from the ground up, Lumina serves organisations of all sizes with complete data isolation between tenants, four-role access control enforced at three independent layers, and a REST API that connects to existing payroll software and biometric attendance devices.

- Leave Workflows - Submit, approve, and track leave requests with instant balance updates, conflict detection, accrual policy automation, and a full audit log.
- Accrual Engine - Configure annual grants, monthly cycles, tenure thresholds, and carry-over limits once — balances calculate automatically for every employee, every year.
- Attendance & Scheduling - Shift templates derive attendance status automatically. Managers record exceptions only. Supports late arrivals, early departures, absences, and special shifts (overtime, double shifts, on-call).
- Penalty & Reward Engine - Define activities, set rules with monetary, points, or hours output, and configure tier escalation for repeat offences. An immutable ledger with void support feeds directly into the monthly payroll export.
- Reports & Export - Six report types — leave history, balance summaries, attendance detail, payroll attendance, penalty/reward detail, and P&R payroll summary — all filterable, shareable by URL, and exportable to CSV.
- Offline-First PWA - Installs to iOS and Android home screens without an app store. Every write queues in IndexedDB and syncs automatically when connection returns. The app behaves identically online and offline.
- Role-Based Access Control - Four roles — Employee, Manager, Administrator, Super Administrator — enforced at the edge, the UI, and the database. Cross-tenant data access is architecturally impossible.
- Integrations & API - A documented REST API with scoped keys connects Lumina to payroll software and biometric devices. Webhook events (leave approvals, penalties, staff changes) are delivered with HMAC-SHA256 signatures for secure server-side verification.
